A sunny Friday afternoon promises that Berka will finally be able to enjoy a weekend with his Lucie, as Lucie's wedding agency Happy Start has no weddings scheduled, and Berka's murder squad is not expecting any fresh murder cases. However, Berka is brought back to reality by his old "client" from the socialist era, now friend Josef Chudárek, once known in professional circles as Pepan Otevřito. During his regular walk along the Svratka River, he stumbled upon a corpse. And it was not just an ordinary victim. It was the owner of a once-failed savings cooperative, now the owner and head of the freshly bankrupt energy supplier, Moravian Top Power, and a candidate for minister in the new government. Berka immediately realizes that he will have to forgo his free weekend...
