Beschreibung
During a military expedition to Upper Hungary, the troops of Přemysl II. Otakar manage to capture Nitra. The administration of the city is taken over by the representative of the Czech king, Oldřich z Chlumu. One morning, a hanged body of a canon from the Nitra chapter is found at the Lower Gate. Panic spreads through the city, as this gate is considered cursed. Years ago, a woman accused of consorting with the devil perished there. The trail leads to the Church of St. James, but before it can be verified, the hanged priest of this church appears at the gate. Oldřich z Chlumu has three days to uncover and convict the criminal.
