Premysl II. Otakar is celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of his coronation as King of Bohemia. His wife Kunhuta, along with several prominent nobles, prepares a lavish surprise celebration at Křivoklát, where not only his loyal supporters gather but also a number of foreign allies. Among the guests is Oldřich of Chlum with his squire Ota. One of the highlights of the celebration is a knightly tournament, in which all the knights and the Czech king participate. And it is this tournament that marks the beginning of a series of brutal murders that Oldřich of Chlum must clarify as quickly as possible, for this time it is not just about justice, but also about the fate of the Czech royal crown...
