Samuel Drops has been through a hellish adventure. He killed a few hideous monsters, eliminated a living god, and saved Celsior along with its inhabitants. In the end, he even stood against Chaos herself, the goddess created from the remnants of the shattering forces of the old world. Now he is driven forward by a promise made before his departure – to help free Vary from the tyranny of the gods. Apparently, it is there that he might confront his long-time arch-enemy. However, there are many obstacles on the way to his goal, the worst of which is Prágl, a city built on the bones of an ancient civilization. A place where humans, gods, and their monsters live together, hiding mutual hatred behind a mask of zero discrimination.
