It analyzes in detail how this two-year period was experienced in both ordinary and extraordinary days. It covers the time of the fiercest battles against the Bolsheviks, showcases the brutality of the Russian Civil War, and the considerable disappointments that the legionnaires had to cope with. It also does not forget the weeks of sailing across the world's oceans on the journey home.
