Beschreibung
In two novellas, we visit a world governed by relentless natural cycles, where scorching summer is followed by gloomy winter, and where life and death are inseparably linked. Its inhabitants face it with the strength of weapons and their spirit, and they are just beginning to understand its true essence.
The heroes of The Last Watch face the toughest task of their lives. In the upcoming harsh winter, they must stand guard to protect the sleeping city of Awaor from an enemy that none of the living have ever seen. They have no idea what awaits them, nor whether they will succeed — they only know that they are leaving for the Last Watch, from which they will never return. Perhaps, however, on this journey, they will uncover part of the secrets of their world…
In the distant city of Harynra, a gate to the underworld is said to have been opened — and the Awaor Master, accompanied by a small boy, sets out to discover how much truth there is in these rumors. At the end of their adventurous journey, they may find the Other Side of the World, or perhaps something entirely different…
