For half a year, Adam has been struggling with the tragic loss of his beloved wife. The only thing that forces him to get out of bed every morning and steer away from a promising path as a promiscuous alcoholic is his five-year-old son, Kryštof. However, a turning point in his life occurs when he meets the energetic and fifteen years younger free spirit, Broňa. She introduces him to her world, brings a smile back to his face, and Adam finally begins to form new relationships. Relationships he never expected to come again, that they would ever come, and which turn his previous way of living upside down. This social novel with elements of queer themes offers a glimpse into the soul of a suffering person who is lost within himself but, thanks to unexpected circumstances, finds solid ground beneath his feet once more. Sometimes happiness is within reach; you just have to give it a chance.
