When a smart and hardworking boy named Luboš receives a scholarship to one of the most prestigious high schools, he imagines that he will thrive in the company of the best and achieve great things. However, although he is captivated by the amazing lectures, dazzling parties, and major sports competitions, in some respects, his expectations remain unfulfilled. The young man, who starts from scratch, suddenly finds himself among the golden youth, whose members have had a path to a carefree life paved for them since birth. Gradually, he uncovers the dark side of the so-called better society. He witnesses harsh, even bizarre street fights associated with the black market, and becomes a witness to the ruthless and arrogant behavior and intrigues of some of his peers. In such an environment, he then "gains" a nemesis – the arrogant classmate Nicolas Čolek, with whom he also shares an interest in a beautiful girl. However, he also has friends he can rely on in any circumstance.
