This Czech-language novel follows Lily, who is far from overjoyed when she arrives in the Afterlife after her death. She soon discovers that reality there is far wilder than any of her previous fantasies. In a café, you queue for coffee with a god or goddess, while souls learn how to turn death into a new beginning. As Lily explores the complicated world beyond death, she finds herself surprisingly drawn to the place most people would rather avoid: Hell. What she discovers there turns everything she has heard about it upside down, and she realizes that the demons at the entrance could use some help dealing with the souls. Armed with years of customer-service experience, Lily sets up a small station at the gate. This brings her into contact with Bel, an infernal general and incredibly sexy demon. Sparks fly between them from the very beginning, and it seems only a matter of time before they explode.
