At first glance, it seems that former detective Harald Uteng got drunk and drowned. But what led him to agree to participate in a popular true crime podcast just shortly before his death, when he had despised the media and journalists his entire life? Anton Brekke is the only one who refuses to accept the conclusion that it was merely an accident and sets out to investigate on his own. The only clue is an old case that the podcast was supposed to cover, so Anton must return to the village where he investigated his first murder with Harald at the beginning of his police career.
