Looking back on it, I shouldn't have had that fifth mimosa. Or the sixth, seventh, eighth... The shame that followed my public breakdown was nothing compared to when my husband left me after fifteen years of marriage for a much younger girl – did I mention she's pregnant?

For the sake of the kids and my pride, I packed up and went to my childhood home, to the small town where I grew up. Cloverleigh Farm will be the perfect place for a fresh start.

Falling in love with Henry deSantise was not part of the plan. Sure, he's easy on the eyes and we have great chemistry in the bedroom (and in the hallway, in the bath, and on his desk), but he's also freshly divorced and we're moving so fast that I'm not sure we'll even have time to heal old wounds. But thanks to Henry, I feel beautiful, attractive, wanted, and strong. I haven't felt that way in years. We understand each other, and when I'm in his arms, I feel like I can finally trust someone again. Love again. Be loved without fear.

But somewhere deep inside, I'm terrified. Is it too soon? Or am I crazy for letting a second chance at a happy ending slip through my fingers like this?
