Jason Bennett is an ordinary family man, a loving husband, and the owner of a successful business. However, one evening, his life takes a turn for the worse. While driving his family home from his daughter Allison's lacrosse game, a strange pickup truck starts tailgating them on an empty road. Then it suddenly blocks their path, and two men jump out, pointing guns at Jason and demanding the car keys. A terrifying flash of violence ensues, forever changing Jason's life. Later that day, the Bennetts are visited by FBI agents who explain that the robbers were members of a dangerous drug trafficking organization – and now Jason and his family are in the crosshairs of its members. The agents recommend that they immediately enter the witness protection program, and they have no choice but to agree. However, participants in the program are usually criminals who have decided to cooperate with investigators. The agents are not prepared for innocent victims.
