Norman and Jax are rising stars in the world of comedy, a future legendary duo with a five-year plan to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival when they turn fifteen. However, when Jax dies just before his twelfth birthday, Norman decides that the performance in honor of his best friend simply can't wait, so he rewrites the plan: ***** 1. Take care of Mom 2. Find Dad 3. Get to Fringe ***** Sadie knows she won't win the Mother of the Year award, and she's not proud of not knowing who her son's father is. But she desires nothing more than to see him smile again. So when she finds Norman's list, she asks for help from her eccentric friend Leonard, an eighty-four-year-old veteran with excellent planning skills and a thirst for adventure, and together they embark on a journey to Edinburgh. Norman hopes to make the audience laugh and maybe even find his dad along the way.
