Přehrada – Swist Paulina (2023)

A major scandal erupts at the police headquarters in the Upper Silesian city of Tychy – several local officers are allegedly accused of raping a prostitute. The victim identifies Krzysztof Strzelecki, a model policeman and generally a person you would label as a good guy, as the main perpetrator. Strzelecki resolutely claims he is completely innocent, but he is still suspended from duty. The only person who believes him without any doubt is his boss, Franciszek Próchniewicz. ***** Unfortunately, he too has gotten into trouble. More precisely, his stepdaughter Zośka Bojarska is very worried. Her eighteen-year-old niece Karolina has suddenly disappeared without a trace. Although she had lived somewhat wildly before, indulging in parties and drugs and often running away from home, this time her aunt has an unsettling feeling that it is much more serious. ***** Everything suggests that Karolina has been kidnapped. Krzysztof, currently suspended from duty, unexpectedly has a lot of free time, so her stepfather asks him to help in the private search for the missing niece. The clues lead them to Paprocany near the city of Tychy – a reservoir lake that is a popular recreational area known throughout Upper Silesia.
