Under the constant surveillance of the Sibyl system, every resident has their own psycho-pass, a value that determines the crime index based on stress and other factors. It is then up to the employees of the Public Safety Bureau to carry out the judgment that the system imposes on potential and actual criminals. The team from the 3rd Detective Division rushes to the Special Sector to save Professor Toshi's life, but there they encounter a deadly trap. In an underground complex, they find a long-forgotten source of information: handwritten letters. Thanks to them, they can finally piece together the last pieces of the puzzle. However, those who bear the weight of ancient guilt decide to perform the final act of atonement.
