A bittersweet story about the uncertainty of contemporary concepts of love, friendship, and the search for what is called happiness. ***** Maggie is getting a divorce. She is broke, her rigorous work is stagnating, her university job does not bring her joy, and her marriage lasted only six hundred eight days. She is twenty-nine, having dated her almost ex-husband Jon since high school, but their relationship has faded. ***** She is experiencing what others managed a decade earlier – she is single, must make decisions on her own, and take care of everything herself. In addition, she realizes how traumatizing a relationship breakdown can be, even if she doesn't want to admit it. She fills her time searching for relationships on Tinder, communicating on social media, and trying various sports and artistic activities. ***** Somewhere between flirting with bisexuality, bouldering, and throwing axes, she tries to figure out whether divorce is a personal failure, how to cope with it, and find a new meaning in life. Gradually, she comes to understand that sometimes one cannot handle everything alone.
