The book is narrated by the main character Ella. She is nineteen years old and has lived only with her sisters since the premature death of their parents. The younger Liv is a crazy teenager living for NXT – the best K-pop group in the world. The older Mel works in the entertainment industry and has to hustle to support all three of them. Despite her reluctance, Ella studies economics so she can eventually find a job and help her older sister. When she accompanies Liv to an event organized by Mel's company featuring NXT, Ella's peaceful life is disrupted by a meeting with Jae-yong. The young man captivates her right from their first encounter, and Ella begins to experience her first love. However, she soon discovers, to her shock, that Jae-yong is a member of NXT. His fame brings various pitfalls – from general notoriety to a ban on dating girls. If Ella wants to be with Jae-yong, everything must remain a secret. And thus begins a whirlwind of complicated maneuvers and excuses that cannot spin indefinitely...
