When Elara has a fight with her mom, she decides to run away to her grandmother in Green Valley. However, at night, she is caught in a snowstorm in the Rocky Mountains and crashes while trying to avoid a huge animal on the road. Fortunately, Noah appears, saves her, and takes her to her destination. In the small town in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Elara wants to stand on her own two feet and fight for her future. Along the way, she meets Noah again, whose big dream is to become an astronaut. Fate has it that they both meet at Hank's auto shop, where they gradually grow closer. At least it seems that way, as Noah tries to keep his distance from Elara despite their mutual attraction. Elara doesn't know what to think until she learns that his ex-girlfriend is in a coma from a car accident that Noah blames himself for. Will love triumph over guilt?
