Horse whisperer Damián Álvarez is celebrating great international success and has many female fans. He learns about his adult son only a few days before his son takes his own life. In shock, Damián cancels all tours and retreats to the family estate in Andalusia. When Linda Grünfelderová, his son's psychiatrist, unexpectedly seeks him out, he initially blames her and is stubbornly resistant to everyone around him. In the unique atmosphere of the Spanish stud farm, family histories unravel and the lives of people who would never have met without the tragic event intertwine. Linda gets to know many of the farm's inhabitants. Some are members of Damián's close family, while others are employees. All of them care for more than a hundred Andalusian horses. The Spanish temperament and the German sense of order and rules initially seem incompatible. Yet, there is something about Linda that attracts Damián. Will she be able to break through his hard shell? Or will she leave the farm empty-handed, with only a few nice memories of the horses?
