After a terrible fall during practice, Lily must bury her dream of a ballet career forever. When she also learns that her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend, she wants to leave New York as far as possible. To figure out how to move on, she enrolls at Fairfax University, 900 miles away. However, she imagined a new beginning and living with her roommate Julian differently. It seems this photography student changes girls like socks – which reminds Lily of everything she wanted to forget. Julian is just as unenthusiastic about his new roommate and her constant bad mood. The situation isn't improved by the fact that they have to work on the same university project! But the more time they spend together, the more they feel a mutual attraction and similarity in not wanting to let anyone get too close. They can only slowly open up to each other, but is that enough for both of them to trust someone wholeheartedly again?
