The first duck did it, and it was Czech! The story of the Citroën 2CV crew, popularly known as the "duck," resembles a dream. Originally a car for French farmers, it became the first car of its kind in history to reach the finish line of the legendary Dakar, in this case, the Dakar Classic 2024. Racer Bára Holická and Lucie Engová, along with mechanic Tomáš Neruda, recount their adventure from the initial idea through their journey across Saudi Arabian sands to crossing the finish line. This small Czech miracle, complemented by photographs from Zbyněk Hozák and snapshots from Bára Holická's private archive, was captured and documented by motorsport commentator Martin Straka.
