Krauz and Chosé have been working in the homicide department for a very long time. For more than twenty-five years, they have been trying to come to terms with the reality that an equal sign cannot always be placed between the concepts of law and justice. Nevertheless, they sometimes manage to unravel the mystery of a slashed and raped student, a shot entrepreneur, or a boy beaten to death - and ultimately track down and arrest the murderer. Whether the perpetrator serves their sentence is no longer their concern; that is the job of others. But it is precisely those others who can complicate life not only for the duo of detectives but also for their colleagues and even their families. Just like in the new case, where the powerful of this world decide to shuffle the cards just an hour before Friday's closing time. All the detectives have already earned their well-deserved rest and are planning how to spend the upcoming weekend. But as always, one changes their mind and the other has a change of heart. A murder is a murder, and when people from the highest echelons are involved and a prominent prostitute is killed, weekend festivities must be set aside. But why should only Krauz and Fischer be involved? Who ordered that they must not collaborate with anyone and that the entire investigation must remain strictly confidential?
