A washed-up popstar in the role of a detective — how will this turn out?

Florence is a former pop star, a loser, and a single mother. Although the unplanned conception of her son Dylan is to blame for the unfortunate end of her career, she wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. It is precisely because of him that she is willing to endure all those pretentious wealthy mothers from the prestigious boys' school that Dylan attends, following in his father's footsteps. Unlike them, she has no partner, no money, no career, and on top of that, she is not a proper Brit, but a chaotic American with a sharp tongue.

However, the strength of her maternal devotion is put to an unexpected test — during a school trip, the most annoying and spoiled brat from Dylan's class, Alfie Risby, goes missing. This wouldn't be so terrible if Florence hadn't discovered Alfie's backpack and diary in Dylan's room. Will Florence, in the role of Dr. Watson, manage to find her Sherlock and crack the case before her son gets into trouble from which even the strongest maternal love won't save him?
