Sunny days are not pleasant for her, but rather painful. When she meets Štěpán at university, she thinks she will finally escape her unpleasant summers. However, she has no idea that this past cannot be escaped. Jakub Stanjura opens the serious topic of gaslighting in an original way in this novel — a peculiar form of manipulation where the victim questions their own rationality, memory, and overall perception of reality.
