An exciting noir story infused with the atmosphere of 1970s Mexico and the essential cigarette smoke. The unlikely heroine of the story is secretary Maite, who escapes her mundane life to pursue her dream adventures and romantic comics. One day, her neighbor, the charming art student Leonora, asks her for help. However, the girl soon disappears without a trace, and Maite sets out to find her. In the process, she penetrates the environment of the student movement and dissent. But she is not the only one trying to track down Leonora. Elvis, a young man from the Hawks squad, is tasked with brutally dispersing protests against the government. With his love for rock and roll and a unique ethical code, he also stands out, but at the behest of a mysterious boss, he embarks on a search for the missing girl. Soon, Maite crosses his path. They are united not only by their love for music but also by a deep loneliness that constantly accompanies them. Maite and Elvis, who together delve into a web of intrigue, violence, espionage, and the war of security services, realize that events are slipping out of their hands, and the search for the missing girl can turn into a fight for their lives in an instant.
