If people have everything they desire, does it matter if they want even more? On a moon named Panga, long ago, people relied on robots for their prosperity. One day, however, something unexpected happened — the robots gained consciousness and decided to retreat into the wilderness, far from human factories, to experience the world in all its untainted beauty. After long centuries of separation, when only legends of robots remained in the world of humans, the time had come. Time to find out how humans are faring. And what they need. Meanwhile, people have learned to fend for themselves. They engage in farming, crafts, or work in monastic orders. Like Echo, for example. She tends to the monastery gardens but feels that life in the city is not for her. So she decides to travel through the countryside and perform tea ceremonies. However, her discontented inner voice does not quiet down, and so there is only one thing left to do — head to the borders where the wilderness begins. Right there, where the first robotic envoy to the world of humans is also heading. Can she discover what humans need when it seems they don't even know themselves?
