Beschreibung
How much sorrow is too much? And how far can we go to avoid pain? A Danish pharmaceutical company has developed the world's first drug for prolonged grief, and a research group at Aarhus University has just completed a study that verifies its effectiveness. However, Professor of Psychology Thorsten Gjeldsted suspects that someone has manipulated the study's data to conceal disturbing side effects of the drug. Neither his colleagues nor the pharmaceutical company want to listen to him, so Gjeldsted embarks on an investigation on his own, subsequently involving two of his students: Anna, who has recently experienced deep grief herself, and Šádí, who usually holds back. Together, they try to uncover what is happening before the drug reaches patients across Denmark.
