Beschreibung
Words that deceive the body. When a poet publishes their third collection, it seems they are serious about poetry. That they cannot calm their restlessness otherwise, just as they cannot rid themselves of doubts about the honesty of their testimony, aware of the individual and objective limits of language. And what paths does their imaginary landscape tread? Those on which — to put it Nietzschean terms — 'words get in our way.' Words that escape unreliable memory and that deceive the body. They approach them very cautiously. Just like an armadillo to a stoat. The author (born 1978) previously published the collections Swallowing Feathers (2019) and Undesired Effects of Silence (2020).
