Why does the brother who has everything he could ever want throw himself into the arms of death? Nathan, the oldest of the Bright brothers, knows well how tough life is in the endless Australian outback. Loneliness there means death. Nearest neighbors can be hours away, and there is no escape from the scorching heat. He knows this because after a divorce and disagreements with relatives, he left the family farm and is struggling through life alone — unlike his brother Cameron. Cameron successfully runs the family ranch, has a loving wife, two adorable daughters, and the admiration of their youngest brother Benny. Therefore, Nathan cannot believe the news that Cameron's body was found by a lonely gravestone in the wilderness, and it seems he went to his death voluntarily. After a long time, Nathan sets out back to the family farm to honor his brother's memory. However, he soon begins to be plagued by doubts and has no choice but to delve into the past and explore old family secrets and grievances that would be better left undisturbed.
