The publication shows in a new way how a woman's pelvis can move and transform during childbirth to facilitate the passage of the fetus. It offers practical advice on how to support natural dynamics through various movements and positions.

The authors demonstrate that knowledge of anatomy and recognition of one's own sensations allows a woman to better utilize her own resources to optimize the entire childbirth process. The dynamic concept of the pelvis they present is the result of combining their knowledge and experiences with hundreds of midwives they have collaborated with for fifteen years.

Thus, the book serves as both a reference guide for healthcare professionals to understand the changes in the pelvis, the positions women assume, and their influence on the passage of the fetus, as well as a source of knowledge for women preparing to give birth and a helper for their companions.

The work presented in this publication has contributed to the creation of new care protocols for low-risk mothers, which have been implemented in Spain since 2007 by the Ministry of Health.
