The third edition of this successful publication has been expanded to include current social issues brought about by developments in recent years. This was prompted by the growing interest of both professionals and the general public in the problem of undesirable phenomena. The topics related to socially pathological phenomena concerning family and aggression have been updated. New chapters have been added addressing new types of addictions (to social networks, technologies) and the abuse of non-addictive substances (vitamins, steroids, hormones, laxatives). Attention is focused on the factors that trigger the development of these socially pathological phenomena, particularly their connection to the family environment, as well as possible solutions. ***** The publication will be beneficial for studying the issues of socially pathological phenomena for both professionals and specialists, as well as for students and other potential interested parties.
