The monograph focuses on the motivation for the performance of the nursing profession in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a unique publication in the book market due to its focus, which comprehensively addresses the issue of nurse motivation in a situation that has significantly determined the nursing profession over the past two years. Its authors are experts in nursing who, in addition to clinical practice as nurses, also have extensive experience in academia in the field of nursing and in the Slovak Chamber of Nurses and Midwives. The publication presents the current legal framework for the nursing profession, qualification and post-qualification education, as well as the prerequisites for practicing this profession.
