Beschreibung
With this guide, you can familiarize yourself with not only stars and constellations in the sky without too much theory, but also with planets. In addition, you will receive a number of prompts for observing unique celestial objects such as double stars, star clusters, and nebulae – either with the naked eye, a portable binocular, or even a relatively small astronomical telescope with a lens diameter of 5 or 6 cm. An especially interesting object to observe is, of course, our Moon, for which a separate map is prepared in this book. In the section of the book with star maps designed for the northern sky, there are four maps available for each month plus twelve maps for those traveling to the southern hemisphere. This section concludes with a lexicon of all 88 constellations. Additionally, there is an overview of interesting celestial events until 2031, primarily regarding the visibility of planets, dates of full moons, as well as solar and lunar eclipses.
