Libby is going through a rough time and feels lonely after her father's death. The only thing keeping her afloat is her friend Sierra and her job as a wedding photographer. This leads her to the historic estate of Woodmont, owned by Elaine Grant. She is trying to restore the estate, bring back its former charm, and open it to the public as soon as possible. The young photographer immediately appeals to her, and so she assigns her the task of documenting the repairs. Libby is enchanted at first sight by the old greenhouse covered in honeysuckle and the ancient stories associated with it. When she finally gathers the courage to clear out her father's office, she finds a letter that turns everything she thought she knew about her parents, herself, and the Woodmont estate upside down.
