Sociální práce na příkladech z praxe – Klepáčková Olga (2022)

The publication offers not only a colorful mosaic of examples and insights from the everyday practice of social workers and their colleagues but also prompts for reflection, discussion, and further deepening of knowledge, as well as practical recommendations. It is primarily intended for social and health-social workers, other helping professionals, and students in socially focused fields. However, it can also benefit those from the general public who are affected by the issues, for example, in the role of informal caregivers, foster parents, or teaching assistants. The second publication from this trio of authors helps to glimpse into the world of people, some of whom have only recently started their first job as social workers, while others have been in practice for several decades. Their clients include at-risk and disadvantaged children, adults struggling with mental illness, addiction, or who have fallen to the bottom of society for various reasons, as well as fragile seniors experiencing the very end of life. Vulnerable people who need support from others to live a fulfilling life and those who long to finally find their happy place in the world.
