Medical biophysics, as an interdisciplinary scientific field, contains elements from many disciplines, at the intersection of which it arises or utilizes their methodological approaches. In the system of theoretical disciplines of medical studies, medical biophysics occupies a specific place. It serves as a connecting link between mathematics and physics on one side and biological sciences on the other. The specificity of biophysical analysis is the fact that the subject of investigation is living systems, and the results of the analysis are applied to solve specific problems in various medical fields using modern instrumentation. Medical biophysics is not only an integral part of the functional areas of the theoretical and preclinical parts of medical studies but also the theoretical foundation of many clinical fields.
