The new processing of the history of the iconic Karosa Š 11 bus, which was produced from 1965 to 1982, includes not only additional insights into its technical and operational aspects but also, above all, memories from witnesses of the former Karosa Vysoké Mýto company, who were present at the birth and testing of this timeless bus series in terms of design. The narrative is supplemented by previously unpublished black-and-white and color photographs of the buses in their standard versions, as well as the articulated version and the Škoda T 11 trolleybus, which were derived from this design group. For the first time, tabular overviews of the most significant model groups and their characteristics are included, along with a detailed overview of the preserved historical vehicles of the Š 11 series in the territories of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The book is intended not only for enthusiasts of bus technology but also for more advanced readers or professionals in the field of public transport.
