The publication can be used independently or as a supplement to physiology textbooks. The diagrams in the book are complemented by summarizing text. Each diagram describes complex control circuits using simplified block feedback circuits, which help to understand the regulatory processes in the organism responsible for maintaining a stable internal environment. Regulations are indeed the undeniable foundation of modern physiology. The publication is essentially a textbook of physiology, but it presents the material from a somewhat different perspective – it does not describe individual physiological processes, but explains how they are regulated through diagrams.
