The use of robotic systems in rehabilitation in contemporary medicine, specifically physiotherapy, is growing dynamically. There are several reasons for this. Decreasing costs for acquiring devices, the possibility of precise, sophisticated therapy throughout the treatment process, the technical development of suitable devices, interest from the outpatient sector, and last but not least, the saving of operational staff. The book provides a comprehensive yet relatively concise overview of current experiences from the perspective of rehabilitation institute staff and clinical hospital facilities, familiarizing readers with existing technical knowledge and also attempting to evaluate the prospects for development. The authorial team consists of doctors, physiotherapists, and technicians, as well as academic field doctors.
