The new book by an experienced author loosely follows the successful textbook Getting Started with Programming in Python, and therefore assumes basic knowledge of this language from the reader. It does not aim to be a textbook on data analysis; rather, it is conceived as a reference guide introducing the most important modules used in data work and their potential applications.
