The successful publication (the previous three editions under the title 'Základy imunologie' were completely sold out) is now being released for the second time under its current title. The updated and supplemented book provides a brief overview of knowledge about the immunity of the human body. Readers will learn about the basic effector mechanisms of immunity, the principles of its regulation, and selected immunopathological processes. To facilitate understanding, the text is supplemented with more than 50 color diagrams and tables, as well as a number of additional notes. The book is intended for everyone who wants to gain basic information about immunity, but also for those who wish to continue exploring immunity by studying more detailed sources.
