The global political situation in Europe is changing today as fundamentally as it did ten centuries ago. Great powers are not only contemplating a new arrangement of this space but are also planning it to a certain extent, of course, in their own interest. Renowned authors are considering the perspective of possible closer cooperation among Central European nations from the viewpoint of their citizens, which would allow for effective collaboration in defending common values and interests in the areas of security, infrastructure, and national economy while maintaining the sovereignty of the involved states. A common inspiration is the example of the Slavnik prince Vojtěch, whose life and work are referenced in the cultural and constitutional traditions of the Visegrad countries. The publication is released in two languages – Czech and English.
