This gamebook for lovers of mathematical riddles, puzzles, games and quizzes recalls that Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, was also a playful mathematician and logician. The book includes hints and solutions, which readers of all ages and levels of logical ability can choose to consult or avoid if they want to preserve the mysteries. Carroll did not live to complete the book, and many people subsequently attempted to compile it. This Czech version draws on the poetic skill of Czech poet Robin Král and his colleague Tomáš Sieger, a mathematician and writer. It is based on the British edition, supplemented by its editor, mathematician Edward Wakeling, while adding a new Czech layer to his work. The book offers suitable challenges for children who enjoy riddles as well as experienced puzzle-solvers, with different levels of difficulty to suit everyone. The contents are in Czech.
