Psychodrama a sociometrie – Moreno Jacob Levy (2025)

The book presents a selection of fundamental ideas from the founder of psychodrama and sociometry, a pioneer in the field of group psychotherapy. The texts are organized conceptually, not chronologically, to provide readers with the best orientation in Moreno's approach. It describes both the author's philosophical foundations and their application in the fields of psychotherapy and group dynamics, including the possibility of measuring group relationships using sociometry. Specific psychodramatic tools (stage, protagonist, director, auxiliary actors, audience) and important goals and aspects of psychodrama are also included: enabling catharsis, practicing creativity and spontaneity, expressing hidden conflicts, and shifting attention to the relationships in which the conflicts occur, allowing for realistic portrayal in a playful form.
