We can perceive aggression and conflicts as threatening, triggering our internal alarm and preparing our bodies for fight or flight. Yet, how can we handle this tense situation constructively when neither fleeing nor attacking represents an effective solution? This book offers many ways of acting that help us approach tense situations and conflicts with children, parents, or colleagues with a cool head and constructively. It is important to avoid what divides us and instead seek what unites us. I want to emphasize that this is not an illusion of eternal harmony, but rather respect for others, as well as understanding, clarity, and openness.
