Beschreibung
The first part of the book presents basic information about crisis and crisis intervention through stories and illustrates basic procedures for solving crisis situations with case studies. The second part discusses individual types of these situations and shows the main guidelines for resolution (what to remember, what to work with and how) as well as a number of case studies that connect the discussed topics. The case studies come from the field of telephone intervention as well as face-to-face conversations. The intention of the book is not to provide exhaustive information about crisis intervention, but to show practical stories of crises that can happen to any of us. Each story is unique and there is no single solution for it. Each worker operates differently and uses various methods in different contexts. Therefore, the presented text aims to support the reader in seeking further paths and their own ways in crisis work. The publication also includes passages that interact with the reader through questions, tasks, or unfinished parts. Bc. Filip Brož has completed training in crisis intervention and works, among other things, as an art therapist and consultant for the Helpline. He collaborates with the magazine Psychology Today. PhDr. Daniela Vodáčková is a psychologist, psychotherapist, and supervisor who has been dealing with the topic of crisis for 25 years...
