The book offers a spectrum of activities focused primarily on the development of sensory perception. It contains 6 thematic blocks centered around the seasons and general themes of self-care and hygiene. The individual activities in the book are simply described, accompanied by a list of suitable materials, and aim to draw from common procedures and materials. All activities are enriched with texts of accompanying poems or songs, which bring rhythm and thematic enhancement to the activities. It does not aim to familiarize readers with therapeutic procedures, but rather with simple and very easily implementable activities that caregivers can use with children at home, in school, or in residential facilities to complement educational, therapeutic, and treatment programs. It is intended for pedagogical and personal assistants, special educators, social service workers, and parents who care for children with severe (often multiple) disabilities. That is, for those who spend the overwhelming majority of the day with the child in practical life.
