Kuba is eleven and isn't going to the sea. Instead, he'll spend the entire holiday week at his step-grandfather's place somewhere in the countryside. He doesn't know anyone there, and moreover, there's no internet in the entire grandfather's cottage. But there is a prepared attic room that will be just his, where he hopes to somehow survive that dreadful week. However, in his room, Kuba soon meets... Pavel. But how did he suddenly appear here? And why does he have a bike without gears, wear strange clothes, not know what a mobile phone is, or who Messi is? He does know where a treasure from World War II is hidden in an old flooded quarry. And that needs to be explored! An adventurous story for children aged 9 to 12.
