Psychodiagnostics is a fundamental working tool for psychologists in many areas of practice and research. The importance of psychodiagnostics for children and adolescents is particularly growing, especially in connection with the individualization of approaches in education and the integration of disabled children into regular schools. This publication follows the book by Prof. M. Svoboda, Psychological Diagnostics of Adults, and covers methods for diagnosing children, specifically focusing on the developmental dimension of the phenomena observed. The book briefly presents the methodological foundations of diagnostics, principles for formulating findings (with examples), but primarily introduces individual clinical and testing methods in child psychodiagnostics. In a special section, it discusses a wide range of application areas for child diagnostics according to situations, disorders, and disabilities, and provides specific diagnostic recommendations for them.
