Šimon's Worksheets 1 Overall Development The worksheets are designed for children from 3 years old to first-grade students. They aim to enrich children's work and assist them in acquiring basic knowledge and skills. The child is motivated while still having space for their own ideas. They become a 'co-author' and apply their skills. Each worksheet can be used multiple times: the child can color it, talk about it, cut it out, and assemble pictures. Each worksheet is accompanied by brief instructions for teachers and parents. These instructions include an overview of the goals that the worksheet contributes to, a list of materials, and methodological notes. The worksheets contribute to the overall development of the child, enhancing spatial orientation, knowledge of basic colors, memory, thinking, creativity, and attention to detail; they also offer relaxation exercises. Mgr. Markéta Mlčochová is a teacher at an elementary school, a guidance counselor, and a special educator specializing in speech therapy, psychopedagogy, and etopedagogy. She has published SHL 1, 2, 3, 10, An Extraordinary Year of a Preschooler, and I Tell, I Tell a Tale in Portál. Her worksheets were created from preparations for teaching units for children with intellectual disabilities. However, they have also become very popular among kindergarten teachers and parents.
